Two shuttered doors mean we're closed. The left shutter being open and "HACK" or a glider being visible means we're open, make some noise, ring the doorbell, knock on the door, or just try to open it, whatever works. The exact location of the door (relative to neighbor shutters) can be seen on the photo below.

How to get there

By public transportation

From the stop Kálvin tér of metro lines 3 (blue line) and 4 (green line) and trams 47, 48 and 49, a 200 meters will take you through Kecskeméti utca and the first corner is Bástya utca to the right. People arriving by train can board the metro at Nyugati or Keleti railway stations, and passengers from Déli railway station should take metro line 2 (red line) to Deák Ferenc tér, which is served by the aforementioned trams and metro line 3.

By car

Bástya utca is a one way street towards Kálvin tér, and the neighborhood is full of roads closed to the general traffic, so right now the route Kecskeméti utca - Szerb utca - Fejér György utca - Bástya utca will take you in front of the hackerspace.

During the day, free parking are rare, and in all of the streets around the space there's a parking fee of 400 HUF/hour from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 to 20:00, you can pay at the machines operated by FKPT. There's also a 20 meters long loading space on the corner of Királyi Pál utca and Vámház körút, you can only stop there temporarily but not leave your car parked there.

For PHEV and BEV drivers who need to charge and/or can't find a parking spot in the neighboring streets, the nearest public charger is on Csarnok tér, 5 minutes walk away with two Type 2 sockets, each with its own dedicated parking spot. The charger is operated by ELMŰ and can be started/stopped using the eCharge+ app for 129 HUF/kWh.
